The sky will shake during the day and light up with fireworks and aerial performances at night at the Thunder Over the Heartland Air Show. There is an array of ticket options and a variety of hospitality levels available to fit any budget. And kids 15 and under are admitted FREE with an adult admission ticket.
Flight Deck
The Flight Deck is a spacious, tented area designed for guests to enjoy shade, basic amenities, and have access to chairs for relaxation with up close views of the show.
Spotter’s Area
Aviation geeks unite! Thunder Over the Heartland is proud to present the finest air show spotter’s package in North America. Enjoy a fully dedicated and exclusive photography area with an unobstructed view of the aerobatic box as well as the hot pit staging area. This exclusive environment is access controlled and will include tables and electricity for your camera gear along with private portable restrooms. With the sun setting to your back, Thunder Over the Heartland is expected to be one of the most beautiful air shows this year and the Spotter’s Area is a must for any aviation photographer or true air show enthusiast. Vaerus Jet Lounge
Enjoy our finest hospitality experience as a member of the Vaerus Jet Lounge. This spacious and comfortable chalet area is located adjacent to the air boss and show control (so you know it’s the best seat in the house). It provides the best available viewing from the comfort of a reserved six-person umbrella table.
Amenities include a catered buffet dinner (Friday & Saturday) or catered lunch (Sunday), from one of the area’s top caterers, premium bar service, access to air-conditioned non-public portable restrooms, and premium VIP parking adjacent from our special VIP entrance.
